    Weather Today

According to the International Meteorological Agency’s official statement, the Western Himalayan Region is likely to receive fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall/snowfall from February 2 to February 4.

“A weak Western Disturbance in the form of a trough in the middle tropospheric westerlies runs along Long.70°E to the north of Lat. 33°N.” It is very likely to cause isolated rainfall/snowfall over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh until February 1st, 2022,” according to the official statement.

Minimum temperatures will gradually rise by 3-5°C in most parts of Northwest, Central, East, and Northeast India until February 3rd, then fall by 3-4°C.

Gujarat’s minimum temperatures will most likely rise by 2-4°C over the next four days before falling.

Dense fog conditions are also expected in isolated pockets during the night/morning hours over the Terai belt of East Uttar Pradesh over the next 24 hours, and over west Assam and Meghalaya over the next two days; over Gangetic West Bengal on the 1-2nd of February, and over Odisha on the 3rd of February.

The weather report today – Rainfall Predictions

Isolated to scattered light/moderate rainfall is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya, as well as Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura from the 31st of January to the 3rd of February, 2022, with increased activity on the 1st of February.

Surface winds (15-25 kph) are expected over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh over the next two days.

Under the influence of a new active Western Disturbance and its induced cyclonic circulation, light/moderate rainfall/snowfall is very likely over the Western Himalayan Region from February 2nd to February 4th. On 3 February 2022, an isolated hailstorm is likely over the region.

Because of the interaction of mid-tropospheric south-westerlies associated with the aforementioned Western Disturbance and lower level southeasterlies from the Bay of Bengal.

Scattered to fairly widespread light/moderate rainfall is expected over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh from February 2 to 4.

    Weather Report

On the 3rd of February, an isolated hailstorm is expected over Punjab, Haryana, and northwest Uttar Pradesh. Light/moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning are expected over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Sikkim on February 3 and 4, and over Assam and Meghalaya, as well as Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on February 4 and 5, 2022.
