“Harassment” angle in Sudiksha Bhati death case, a day after it ruled out. Bulandshahr police on Friday announced a reward of Rs. 20,000 to anyone who gives credible information about riders on bullet involved in the August 10 road crash.
“There’s this information that there was a bullet motorcycle with two riders which applied an emergency brake and Sudiksha’s two-wheelers then crashed into doing it from behind. She died due to injuries in the accident”. The above statement is said by the Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh.

Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh also said that ” We are putting in all effort and tracking every Bullet registered in the district and analyzing them. In pursuance of the case, we have announced a reward of rupees 20000 to any person who could lead us to the bullet that was involved in the case of the riders of the case “.
After seeing the case the district police chief said that any information provider that says their identity would be kept confidential. He said that the investigation is underway and the effort is to nothing put any innocent person behind the bars but identify the actual real culprit and bring them to justice, the effort is also to bring out all the facts and truth in the case.
Sudiksha Bhati who hailed from Deri scanner village in Gautam Budh Nagar’s Dadri died on Monday in a road cross in the adjoining Bulandshahr district as she was alone riding a motorcycle with her cousin’s brother.
The 20-year-old woman extremely bright student was pursuing a graduation course in entrepreneurship at Babson College, Massachusetts (the US) on a Rs 3.80 crore scholarship, and was scheduled to go back on August 20.
Her family is saying that the road crashed into place because two unidentified motorcycle-borne men were following and harassing her.
After the body reached her village some people tried to twist the narrative of the incident. Since the girl had gotten a huge scholarship package for studying in the US.
It is said that the boy who was riding the motorcycle is a high school student and there emerged a narrative that the woman’s parental uncle, Satendra Bhati, was riding the motorcycle.
But during the probe, his mobile phone location was analyzed which is showing that at 9.17 am he was in Dadri, and the incident took place at 8.50 am in the Bulandshahr Aurangabad area.
“He reached the spot at 10.49 am, almost two hours after the accident. we have a complete route chart of his travel said police Santosh Kumar Singh.
Singh said that the police were also soon a party in the incident because it was being projected that the death place was because of police irresponsibility and tampering.
While doing the investigation so far on the basis of eyewitness statements there has been no confirmation that it was a case of harassment, he said.
Singh and Hemant Sharma who lives in mustafabad is an eyewitnesses of the incident and they told police that because of a milk tanker coming from the opposite direction a bullet rider applied breaks after which the motorcycle on which Suraksha was riding rammed into the bullet from behind.
This led to the accident and a head injury to Sudiksha because of which she died and her cousin’s brother suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The FIR was logged on the basis of the method complaint which was given by the women’s father Jitendra Bhati.
After the incident, the first complaint was made by the cousin at the hospital but it took it immediately saying that the family would give a complaint while the complaint by the maternal uncle who lives in Bulandshahr was not locked by the police in order to not let the family doubt that is version was taken under any police pressure.
The senior police officer claimed that even in those two complaints there was no mention of harassment.
The FIR has been lodged under a few relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code – 279(Rash Driving on a public way ), 304A (Causing death due to negligence), 184 (Dangerous driving), and 192 of the motor vehicle act, among others.
Santosh Kumar Singh said that five police teams are working on the case currently so that the actual culprit will be arrested soon.
The district police chief said that on the FIR it has been mentioned that the bullet came ahead and went behind Sudiksha’s motorcycle.
The FIR also mentions that it is a case of harassment but if any point of harassment emerged in the probe then strict action would be taken and whichever law is applicable would be incorporated into the case. But so far, there is no evidence that suggests harassment neither the eye witness nor the deceased’s brother has mentioned anything about it said, Santosh Kumar Singh.
We are with the family of Sudiksha and proving the case if even of an iota of truth is found regarding the allegations, legal action would be ensured he said.
